LESLIE BRADLEY

VIDEOGRAPHER - PHOTOGRAPHER - FILMMAKER

Hey, I’m Leslie. I’m a Gold Coast Photographer / Filmmaker and have been photographing for the past 10 years after purchasing my first DSLR Camera back in 2010.

Growing up, the Arts have played a major role in my life.

My parents ran their own Karaoke business, my mum and brother performed in countless theatrical productions and I would spend most days drawing – even in my High School English class when we were supposed to be reading.

I also loved the movies, more specifically animation! After graduating year 10 in 2008, I studied Certificate 2 in Creative Industries (Media) in 2009 to become an Animator. However, the course leaned more towards filmmaking – and I fell in love! So much so I went on to complete a Cert 3, Cert 4 and Diploma in Screen and Media (Film & Television).

I then moved from Western Australia to the Gold Coast and between 2017 – 2019 I studied a Bachelor of Film & Screen Media Production from Griffith University in Brisbane where I focused on Directing, Producing and Lighting and developed my journalistic/ documentarian approach to Photography and Cinematic approach to Videography.

As part of my studies, I also got a chance to work on the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018 and on a Feature Film in 2019 which were both incredible experiences.

My passion and love towards filmmaking and storytelling continues to grow with many exciting projects to come.
